Itinerary: Chihuahua to Copper Canyon Saturday 19

  • 06:00 hrs – Departure from meeting point in Chihuahua, Chih. to Copper Canyon.
    Transportation options: Sprinter Van or Chepe Regional Train.

    11:45 hrs – Arrival in Creel and free time for lunch.

    13:00 hrs – Begin tour of the Creel area.
    Visits include:

    • Cusarare Waterfall

    • Lake Arareko

    • San Ignacio Mission

    • Rock formations: Valleys of the Mushrooms and Frogs

    18:00 hrs – End of local tour and transfer to Copper Canyon.

    19:00 hrs – Arrival at Copper Canyon and check-in at the selected hotel.

    Overnight in Copper Canyon
    (Two lodging options available:

    • Hotel Mirador: all meals included

    • Hotel Posada Barrancas del Cobre: dinner and breakfast included)

Day 2: Adventure and Return to Chihuahua

  • 08:00 hrs – Breakfast time.

    10:00 hrs – Start of the tour through the scenic viewpoints, hanging bridge, and the Adventure Park.
    At the park, you’ll have time to enjoy a variety of activities, such as:

    • Zipline Adventure (“7 Stations”): Includes 7 ziplines and 2 hanging bridges.

    • The ZipRider: One of the longest ziplines in the world.

    • Via Ferrata: Features a 50-meter rappel, a hike along the canyon wall, and a Tarzan-style rope swing across the cliff.

    For those looking for a more relaxed experience, the park also offers:

    • A restaurant with a glass floor and panoramic canyon views

    • A front-facing viewpoint of the Copper Canyon

    • Mini-golf and various activities for children and families

    13:00 hrs – End of tour and departure back to Chihuahua.
    On the return journey, we’ll visit the Mennonite Museum as part of a cultural tour in the city of Cuauhtémoc.

    20:00 hrs – Arrival at the original meeting point in Chihuahua.
